Vegetable leather
Your vegetable-tanned leather product should be cleaned by a leather specialist, especially if it has a stain.
Cécilia Vegetable leather is made from vegetable tannins. The colour is obtained by a dye stamp made by hand by the craftsman, which gives it its natural beauty. This type of leather makes each product unique. The leather may show some marks with use, but will patina and soften over time.
We recommend that you do not expose your product to a source of heat or prolonged exposure to the sun, and that you protect your product when it rains. If exposed to water, dab lightly with a dry cloth and leave your product to dry at room temperature, away from direct light. On a day-to-day basis, don't overload your handbag or clutch. To increase its longevity, store your product in its protective textile cover, incorporating tissue paper padding to maintain its shape. To maintain the shine of your smooth or grained leather product, regularly use a non-tinted nourishing cream for leather suitable for leather goods. Do not wear clothes of contrasting colours in contact with your product to avoid any colour migration. We recommend that you first carry out a test in a hidden area.
