Washing

To preserve the beauty of your merino jumpers over time, we recommend machine washing them at a temperature of 20° maximum. The spin speed should not exceed 400 rpm.

Before each wash, we recommend using a razor or anti-pilling comb to remove excess material. We recommend using a special wool detergent, following the recommended quantity on the packaging of your detergent, and without using fabric softener. It is not necessary to wash them after each wear. We recommend avoiding using them for several days in a row to allow the fabric to breathe and recover.

Zadig&Voltaire Merino jumpers can also be hand washed, but we recommend that you do not soak them in water. In this case, it is important not to wring the material, the wool piece should be gently wrung out in a terry towel.

Drying

At the end of the cycle, the Merino wool should be dried flat on a terry towel to avoid distorting the fabric. Drying should be natural, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat.

Ironing

It can be ironed inside out, using gentle steam, at a maximum temperature of 110°, taking care not to stretch the fabric.

Knitwear secrets

It is not necessary to wash your knitwear after each wear. We recommend avoiding using them for several days in a row to allow the fabric to breathe and recover. Your woollen garment should not be stored on a hanger to avoid warping. We recommend that you keep it folded flat. You can use a cedar ball in your wardrobe to repel moths.
