Zadig&Voltaire is obsessed with leather. Its softness and rock, non-conformist vibe make it irresistible. In 2021, Zadig&Voltaire joined the Leather Working Group (LWG). This organisation, made up of brands, manufacturers and various stakeholders in the leather industry, developed an audit programme that certifies tanneries based on their environmental practices and performance.

Each season, the studio uses leather to create an entire wardrobe: leather blazers, leather shirts, leather trousers, leather shorts, leather trouser suits, leather jackets, leather coats, shearling gilets and of course the majority of leather goods including leather bags, leather shoes and leather belts, leather shoulder straps and leather wallets. Crinkled leather is made using exclusive brand know-how. Each season, it is featured on jackets, shirts, skirts, and now trousers. Durability is a major concern for Zadig&Voltaire. We encourage best practices when looking after our leather pieces, whether they are made from smooth, grained or patent leather, shearling, lambskin, vegetable-tanned leather or suede. In our “care” section, you will find all our recommendations to ensure your leather pieces are hard-wearing and you can even pass them on to your loved ones.
